For all of our clients and potential clients, Google offers a no-cost solution for 501(c)3 non-profit organizations, which mirrors the features of Google Apps for Education.

In order to qualify for Google Apps for Non-Profits, you must:

  • Be Classified as a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization
  • Have less than 3,000 users (if over 3,000 users, please call us: 877-774-4664 x 1 and speak with Sales)
  • Be accredited by a generally accepted accreditation body and verified by 9-digit Employee ID Number

If you need official confirmation, you can check Publication 78 at the IRS website online. That publication lists most of the organizations that qualify as tax exempt. To get another copy of an exemption letter, write to the IRS.

If you find the IRS website intimidating or less than user friendly, you can also get confirmation by going to www.guidestar.com. Guidestar has information and Form 990 tax information returns on most charities in the country.

If you do not have proof of 501(c)3 status, you will be required to sign up for Google Apps for Business at $50/user per year
